Students look forward to the Speech Meet Awards Chapel every year. This is where they find out if their speaking performance has earned a ribbon and then which ribbon/level was earned. Students celebrate each other's achievements and reset goals for their next speaking opportunity.

Communication is key to be effective in society. Effective communication means that we form connections, influence decisions and can be a change agent. Without good communication skills, the ability to progress in relationships, life and business diminishes greatly! Public speaking is one of the most important forms of communication. We start early at LCA. Not only do students have daily opportunities to communicate publicly in front of their peers, but LCA's annual speech meet preps students for large group public speaking.
