June 1 & 2, 2022

From wrecking ball, 9-square and sack races to hula hoops, rock walls and racing...this was THE BEST Field Day & Special Gym Day to date! A HUGE shout out to LCA's own Certified Athletic Trainer & Physical Education Instructor, Mrs. Wolbert! Staff, students & families truly appreciate the time, energy and love that she devoted to making these two year-ending days incredibly special and memorable!

After Field Day was a raving success, Mrs. Wolbert reported in, "The fun continued today in gym class! Thank you Rock Church for providing us the rock wall, bounce house, slides, cotton candy and ice cones! You guys ROCK! The kids had so much fun today!! Starting with the Kindergarten class!"

Mrs. Duffrin (Middle School): On Yes Day, middle schoolers are headed out for a nature walk and photo shoot! God sure is an amazing creator!

Mrs. Spicher (First Grade): Can we paint outside today? YES!!!! For YES DAY! We also had an outside recess, did buddy reading, completed an Estimating Mystery, practiced math on Math Playground, played Superman tag, played games at an inside recess, made solar ovens, had lunch outside, and ate yummy s’mores from our solar ovens!!!

Serving Second Harvest

Each class at the Academy has a specific ministry/mission that they serve as a group. From the Soldiers and Sailors Home and the Eye Glass Ministry to Operation Christmas Child and the Second Harvest Food bank, our students serve both locally and internationally through these organizations.

Today was our last time serving for this school year which is always bitter sweet! We love our time at Second Harvest Food Bank!
