Swedish Chef Spicher Saves the Day

When LCA's Chef Matt needed the day off, we could only think of one person who might be able to fill his shoes... Swedish Chef Spicher! And let’s be honest, if anyone can turn a simple sandwich into a gourmet masterpiece, it’s definitely her!

"I treasure laughing and learning with the students and my colleagues as we grow in the knowledge of Christ," Spicher shares. And if that includes filling in at lunchtime while making them giggle, then she’s all in!

As the vice principal of teacher development, Mrs. Spicher, knows a thing or two about putting smiles on people's faces. After all, prior to her promotion to vice principal this school year, she served as a classroom and lead teacher at LCA for nearly 20 years!

Mrs. Spicher is awesome, but she couldn't serve nearly 120 students without the help of some special parents who have committed to serving lunch a few times a week throughout the school year.
