A peek into what we’ve been doing in music class!
Kindergarten has been learning the notes mi, sol, and la. Today they played “It’s Raining, It’s Pouring” on boomwhackers and wrote their own mi-sol-la compositions.
3-4 has just started recorders! We’ve learned our first three notes, B, A, and G, and played Hot Cross Buns for the first time.
7-8 is studying the science of sound. Today after learning how the ear hears we did an experiment where students had to follow their ears while being blindfolded to find a specific instrument...OUTSIDE!
