Today was a really special day for our students. They were able to spend some time serving others through Operation Christmas Child missions and then they focused on purchasing for others during the shopping rush at the LCA Christmas Store!!! The Academy prides itself on the amount of leadership training that we incorporate into simple daily activities...so many opportunities where you see the older students leading, training and setting a great example for the younger ones. Everything we did today made that very evident. And although Christmas Store looks like a blast on the surface, it really does get kids thinking about who they are buying for, the cash they have, what they would like to budget for each person...and the older students assist the younger ones with this new financial experience!
