LCA students begin looking forward to the 4th Grade PA History Trip from the time they start Kindergarten at the Academy. It's a special three-day/two-night trip that includes Harrisburg, Philadelphia and Lancaster. The trip focuses on the rich history of our state and incorporates the biblical references and Christians involved in founding our state. The students even receive a book featuring all of the Biblical quotations in the PA State Capitol Building. The stops in Philadelphia are too many to list but highlights include The Mint, the Liberty Bell, Betsy Ross's house and Christ Church. The students end their trip in Lancaster with a full Amish experience including a traditional Amish dinner. What a week!
