We had a blast this week with loads of hands-on science projects. Made a volcano, simulated movement of tectonic plates, and created an edible model of layers of the earth! Great job first grade!

A Different Fruit

Mrs. Heinrich lead chapel today with our new virtue of Harmony! She reminded us of the fruits of the Spirit and our need for Jesus in order to have true fruit.

For us to have harmony at school we must rely on Christ and the Holy Spirit. When an orchestra is warming up they do not sound like they are working together, it’s not a pretty sound. But when they play together it’s a beautiful sound!

We too can work together and make a beautiful place here at LCA and honor God with our actions and heart attitude. We each need to do our part in establishing HARMONY.
