Innovation was the word of the day in middle school music! Fifth and Sixth grade finished their "Movie Music Unit" by learning about the composer Hans Zimmer and how he created instruments to represent music on other planets. The students were tasked with using their engineering and creativity talents to make a new instrument or use a class instrument in an innovative way. They did a great job!

The Staff is feeling the love as LCA Staff Appreciation Week kicked off today! We were welcomed this morning with a beautiful banner and blessed by a delicious breakfast. Then we had a wide variety of snacks, thoughtfully selected and just in time for lunch! Thank you so much to the LCA parents ~ you make this week incredibly special every single year!

Creating an appetite and habit for reading is important from the time that students enter Pre-K at Leadership Christian Academy. Not all readers are leaders, but all leaders are readers. Not only do we want to help develop the leadership trait of reading, but when you have older students modeling the way, it makes for accomplishing numerous educational goals easy with one FUN activity...Buddy Reading! Today the Pre-K/K hosted some special friends from the 3rd & 4th grades for reading time!
