Little Light of Mine

Today in chapel, Mrs Yaple shared about the light in us. Students tried to blow out candles, battery operated candles and a flash light! We learned that the Word is a steady & bright light and we can have light in us too! We are responsible for how we encourage or "blow out" others' lights and if we shine for God or not.

Our challenge:

Find out what God's Word says about us. Write down a verse and share it with Mrs Yaple (put it in her mailbox). Who God says we are is the most important light we can have in us!

It's BACK!! Winterfest Family Fun Night is BACK!! LCA's culture is all about our FAMILIES and the special community we have together! There's nothing like family fun nights for fellowship, friends and...FUN!!

Leadership Christian Academy invited all current families as well as families considering private Christian education to Winterfest Family Fun Night & Open House.

Winterfest totally ROCKED! Visiting families got a "behind the scenes" look at our campus, met our exemplary staff and had a great time with our LCA students & families.

Everyone had blast bouncing, playing games, toasting s'mores and getting their faces painted and balloon art to take home!

Creativity Abounds

Middle School spent some time reading with the younger grades. The middle school students each wrote and illustrated their own children’s book over these past weeks. It was such a special time ~ Mrs. Allen

2nd Grade got hands on with math today. Modeling numbers with Play Doh is a lot of fun! ~ Mr. Landis
