This morning's chapel officially kicked-off Christian Education Week with praise and worship, reverence for God, family, Country and their LCA family and a special message from Pastor Diane! This year's theme is "Be the Light & Change the World" and the February virtue is "Sincerity." Everyday this week includes fun activities and service opportunities in addition to core academic classes such as math and reading. Students will be writing letters of thanks and encouragement to community leaders and missionaries, collecting change to Change the World and offering 100 heart-felt prayers for the world to decorate the hallways in hearts. The students will also serve in their monthly ministries with Sunrise Assisted Living, Operation Christmas Child, Soldiers & Sailors Home, the Erie City Mission and our eyeglass ministry.
