What a special opportunity! Not only do the Academy's students get to meet real firemen risking their lives for the citizens of our community, they get to climb in a firetruck, see how the trucks work and then learn about fire safety in their own homes. It was a productive and fun morning!
The Academy's Pre-K and Kindergarten students had a BLAST today at Port Farms and learned a few things along the way. Life on "the farm" seems pretty fun...milking life-like cows, counting kernels, petting goats and sliding down "mountains!" Happy harvest everyone!
